What happens after the trial?

On day 30, your trial ends. You'll have a 7-day grace period — full access continues — to choose a plan. After that, new packets pause until you subscribe.

Anything already in flight stays in flight. Packets your recipients have started will continue to completion no matter what — even past the grace period. Your data, your packets, and your settings stay intact. When you come back, one click reactivates everything.

Common questions

What counts as a "seat"?

Nothing does. OnboardingGenie pricing is flat — regardless of how many people use it. Add as many admins, managers, or staff as you need. Send packets to as many recipients as you need. Track compliance for as many employees as you have.

Are there usage limits?

No. Send as many packets as you need. Upload as many files as your business produces. Use every starter packet, every feature, every month, with no metering.

How does this compare to BambooHR or Rippling?

Those are full HRIS platforms — they bundle payroll, benefits, performance management, and compliance for $108–$279+ per month plus per-employee fees. OnboardingGenie is just the onboarding and compliance piece, without the HRIS. If you already have payroll covered (or don't need it), OnboardingGenie costs a fraction.

What's the difference between Pro and Pro+?

Pro covers onboarding and compliance management. Pro+ adds Training — delivery, watch tracking, and completion certificates. Both include unlimited packets, unlimited team members, and the compliance dashboard.

Can I upgrade from Pro to Pro+ later?

Yes. Upgrade anytime from Settings or the pricing page. Stripe prorates your remaining time automatically — you only pay the difference.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your subscription settings whenever you want. You'll keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for, and any in-progress packets continue regardless.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. Sign up with just your email. We only ask for payment details if you choose to subscribe.

Is there a discount for paying annually?

Yes. Pro Annual is $490/year (two months free). Pro+ Annual is $790/year (save ~$158 vs. monthly).

What if my trial ends and I'm not ready to subscribe?

You'll have a 7-day grace period with full access. After that, your account stays open — your data, packets, and settings are preserved — but new packets pause until you subscribe. In-progress packets continue to completion.

How is my data protected?

OnboardingGenie runs on Google Cloud Platform with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. All data is stored in Google Cloud's nam5 multi-region (US data centers with automatic geographic redundancy). See our security page for the full details, including what we do and don't have.
